About Me

Husband, father, project manager, entrepreneur, consultant, voice actor, podcaster, content creator

I've always believed life is meant to be lived to its fullest

I may not have done all that I want to accomplish yet, but everything you see here on my website is a huge step in the right direction for me.

I went to college not knowing where I was going to end up or what I wanted to do.  I graduated college with a much clearer idea - I want to use the gifts given to me and tools available to help people with the things I've learned.

I have been so fortunate to have had opportunities to try all kinds of new things and I always love to learn more - I've been involved in acting, orchestra, a cappella, blacksmithing, soccer, volleyball, frisbee, honors programs, filmmaking, radio production, sales, audio engineering, podcasting, voice acting, product development, cycling, software development, linguistics, teaching, tutoring, video gaming, social media content creation, project management, serving a full-time mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Taiwan, and now consulting!

Despite all of that, my greatest joy is in my family.  I grew up never expecting much accomplishment from myself because, despite all the things I did, I was never the best at them.  When I got married to the love of my life and then when my daughter was born, however, I felt inspired to step up my game, embrace life's challenges, and get things done.  My wife and I started a business (Scooties Baby Mats!) and I launched my consulting career here.

I discovered a love for project management a few years ago working in Chinese product development and manufacturing, and when I switched to software development that love only grew with learning Agile and Scrum practices on top of the traditional Waterfall approach.  Even as a freshman in college working at the local radio station, my coworkers lovingly called me "The Systemetizer" because of my knack for finding more efficient processes, systems, workflows, and automation.

By combining my love of learning, project management, efficiency, and teaching, I am prepared to take a step into your organization and work together with you and your team to find the most operationally efficient, productive, and cheapest route to your strategic objectives.
